Notes from Coach Woods...

  • Our First Serve-A-Thon

The Lady Cubs served their way to a successful fundraiser.  Girls were asked to find pledges for each successful serve. On Friday night, in front of family, friends and peers, the girls focused hard and demonstrated all of their hard work from behind the service line.  Overall the team served 487 balls over the net!  This event prepares the Lady Cubs to go up against Golden Meadow on Wednesday at home! Please come out and support our Lady Cubs Volleyball Program.

  • Jamboree @ WTMS

Congratulations to our Lady Cubs Volleyball Team as they won both of their matches this past Friday at Jamboree against Belle Rose Middle and Labadieville Middle. The team served a total of 18 aces and had 4 kills. Everyone on the team contributed! The girls next game will be home on September 7th, come out and support our Lady Cubs.

  • 6th Grade Volleyball Tryouts

6th Grade tryouts will take place on Thursday evening at 5pm in our gymnasium. Tryouts will end at 6:30 pm and students are expected to come with a physical, gym shoes, shorts and t-shirt (PE uniforms are acceptable). This will be the final opportunity for 6th graders to tryout for the team. I look forward to seeing you there!
